Nearly 250 children showed off their rugby skills at a primary school festival.
Children from Copeland primary schools took to the field at St Bees School to enjoy a tag rugby competition.
Cumbria Rugby Union youth development coach Russell Gainford said: "Played in fine weather, all the teams contributed to a very exciting day by playing some excellent rugby with great, spirit, skill and enthusiasm.
"Many thanks to the groundsman David Lamb, who worked tirelessly to get all the pitches into excellent condition and thanks to St Bees School for their wonderful hospitality, which was greatly appreciated by all concerned."
