ALL four West Cumbrian tourists have been named in today's side for the opening match of the BARLA Great Britain tour of Jamaica.

Elenborough's Andy Ostle and Hensingham's Jordan Thompson are in the starting XIII to take on Jamaica B.

And they will be joined on the bench by Distington's Bryan Ritchie and Seaton's Liam Wood.

There are plenty of Cumbrians in the BARLA Cougars line-up with Barrow Island's Perry Singleton captaining the side.

Walney's Matty Elliot will make his BARLA debut while Askam's Tom Hopkins and Millom's Marcus O'Brien both on the bench.

Both sides are playing a 20-man squad for today's encounter.

Manager, Whitehaven-based Sean High, said: "The weather has been humid hot at 33 degrees but the lads have trained well and are all excited to play.

"All the players are looking towards the final Test next Saturday with another game and a nines tournament to impress the coaching staff.

"Training has been tough but the players have adapted well. With thunderstorms forecast during the game this should give the British boys some time off from the heat."
