WHITEHAVEN Rugby League have confirmed a second pre-season fixture which will take place next weekend.
Jonty Gorley’s side will have their first action of 2024 as they travel to the DCBL Stadium to take on Widnes Vikings in a testimonial match for Jack Owens on Sunday January 14.
This will be the club's second pre-season hit out after confirmation of the Ike Southward memorial fixture last month which will take place at The Fibrus Community Stadium vs Workington Town on Sunday January 21.
29-year-old Owens made one appearance for Haven back in 2015 on dual registration from the Vikings in a 18-16 Championship home victory versus London Broncos in March 2015.
