Rudolph and Comet make flying festive visit

SANTA’S reindeer Comet and Rudolph have made a special trip to Whitehaven to visit excited youngsters.

The pair were invited to the Chill Out Zone at St Gregory and St Patrick’s School last week.

Staff said school children and those who attend the Chill Out Zone were delighted to stroke and feed the animals during their visit to the centre.

Julie Mahone, Chill Out Zone nursery manager, said: “The children were really excited. They had a brilliant time!”

Several fundraisers have been held over the past few weeks, including Christmas winter wonderland fairs and princess evenings to raise money for the reindeer visit.
