Whitehaven Academy is open as normal today after the latest strike action by teachers was called off.
Members of the NASUWT teaching union had been due to go on strike at the academy which is run by the Bright Tribe Trust.
A spokeswoman for Bright Tribe said: "NASUWT has cancelled all further strike action at The Whitehaven Academy and the school will be open as normal to all year groups.
"A letter from the union was received early yesterday evening. The school worked hard that evening to notify all staff, as many parents as possible and the wider community."
She added: "The NUT and ATL have no plans for further strike action. Principal Warren Turner and Bright Tribe worked closely with the unions to resolve concerns.
"Both are fully committed to working with all staff and trade unions in order to improve standards and provide a good level of education for students at The Whitehaven Academy."
