Adventurous teenagers completed a skydive to raise over £500 for charities.

Josh Green and Daniel Harrison, both 17, hurled themselves from a plane to collect money for the Salvation Army and the Alzheimer’s Society.

Josh, an electrical apprentice at Gen2, said: “I thought it would be a good charity to give something back to. I wanted to help people less fortunate than ourselves.

“I raised over £250 and Daniel has raised a similar amount. We’re really pleased with the support we’ve had.

“The skydive was scary, it was nerve-wracking, but it was well worth it. We organised it through Gen2, they encourage us to get involved in charity work. We recently did a walk for Cash for Kids as well.”
