Castle Park, Whitehaven
Two teenagers were assaulted by a group in a Whitehaven park in what police have called a homophobic incident.
The 14-year-old girl and 17-year-old boy suffered minor injuries after they were assaulted by a group of youths, both boys and girls, in Castle Park at about 8pm on Monday.
Any witnesses or people with information are asked to contact PC 2213 Dugdale at Cumbria Police on 101.
