Trustees of St Bees School are hosting a drop-in event about the future of the school tomorrow (Saturday).
At its business management centre - the Whitelaw building - between 1pm and 4pm, Mark George, chair of the trustees, will be giving a brief update on their efforts to re-establish future education on the school site.
He will also discuss how the trustees are managing the buildings and school assets as part of their work. His presentation will be at 1pm and 2.30pm.
There will also be information about the business management centre, sports facilities, library and other accommodation for visitors.
Prospective parents are also encouraged to register their interest.
Developments at St Bees School since its closure as an independent school last year include an audit of the school's land and assets, agreement with the golf club and the appointment of a green keeper, and tenants have been found for the headmaster's residence and part of School House.
Rosehill Theatre also used the Memorial Hall at the school as a venue for summer events.
