Police are investigating the theft of a handbag from a woman in her 80s in Whitehaven town centre.
The incident occurred around noon on Saturday, June 24 when the handbag was taken from the rear of Nobles Amusements, on Strand Street.
It had been left unattended for a short period of time and contained a purse with an amount of cash, a house key and a bus pass.
The bag is described as black with pink handles.
Anybody with information that may assist in identifying those responsible is asked to contact the police on 101, quoting log number 97 of the 24th of June or call Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
