A CRASH involving five cars near the Pelican Garage in Whitehaven caused traffic disruption this morning (Tuesday).
Police were called to the incident on Loop Road at 8.15am and a 72-year-old male from Maryport was taken to West Cumberland Hospital with minor injuries.
There were no other injuries but the road was blocked for a short time. An 18-year-old female and a 43-year-old woman from Whitehaven were involved in the collision, as well as a 31-year-old male from Egremont.
The fifth driver was a 27-year-old from Warrington.
