Starting at 7.30pm, Chapin-Wickwar are part of Cumbria’s burgeoning folk scene and come to Egremont following great reviews of their debut album ‘If…’.
The album received a nomination for the Best Album (Duo) in last year’s FolkWords Album Awards.
Joining Chapin-Wickwar on the night will be an up-and-coming new talent from Kendal. Crispin Halcrow takes much of his lyrical inspiration from the natural surroundings of the Lake District.
And Florence’s film club is set to show its first new release, alongside its regular programme of classics, recent hits and forgotten gems.
A new documentary Where You’re Meant To Be will be screened on Sunday, September 4 at 3pm.
Tickets for Chapin-Wickwar cost £10 and are available from www.florencemine.com or by calling 01946 824946.
