WHITEHAVEN RL will be hosting a youth training camp for James Newton's Testimonial.
The camp will take place this summer and will give children the opportunity to train alongside James and other players from the squad.
James is currently the team captain for Whitehaven RL.
A spokesperson said: "On Saturday, June 1, Whitehaven RLFC is proud to be holding a very special youth training camp in support of our Team Captain James Newton's testimonial.
"Train alongside Newts and his team members, with a chance for photos with the whole team after the camp.
"This promises to be a great day all round, for kids from all surrounding areas.
"All funds raised will support Newts and his selected charities, so come along and show your support. Let’s fill the pitch and give everyone a day to remember."
This will take place at The Ortus Rec between 10am and 12pm with registration at 9.45am.
It is open to players aged 6 to 15 with a cost of £10.
