CUMBRIA Police are investigating after a burnt-out motorcycle was found in Whitehaven.
Officers were investigating the illegal use of road motorbikes in the Woodhouse area when they made the discovery.
A spokesperson said: "PC 2857 has been out on foot patrol in the Woodhouse area of Whitehaven looking into the illegal off-road use of motorbikes.
"No one was seen using motorbikes in an illegal manner which is good news, sadly a motorbike was found burnt out and destroyed.
"Inquiries to locate the owner have so far been unsuccessful, if you believe the motorbike in the picture is yours, please contact Cumbria Police on 101."
