FREEMASONS in Cumbria have donated a sum of money to a local hospital.
Two Freemasons paid a visit to West Cumberland Hospital in Whitehaven where they presented staff with a cheque of £500.
This money was donated in support of The Henderson Suite at the centre.
A spokesperson said: "Yesterday Jeff Taylor and Philip Heal were honoured and privileged on behalf of Gospatric Lodge, to donate £500 to the Henderson ward at West Cumberland Hospital.
"What a wonderful donation to an excellent cause, local Freemasons supporting local charities."
