CUMBRIA Police have been dealing with parking concerns in Whitehaven this week.
Residents had raised issues about parking in parts of the town.
There were said to be parking issues at the junction of Kirkstone Road and Yewbarrow Close blocking the view of oncoming traffic on Kirkstone Road.
A spokesperson said: "Your local neighbourhood policing team attended the area and a vehicle was seen causing an unnecessary obstruction at the junction of Kirkstone Road and Yewbarrow Close.
"The vehicle in question was given a ticket. The owner will be short of £30 for their trouble and will think twice about where they park their vehicle.
"Please keep reporting any issues you have to the Copeland neighbourhood policing team."
