WHITEHAVEN RL terminated a player's contract this evening, April 11.
Dalton Desmond Walker's contract has been terminated today 'with immediate effect.'
Whitehaven signed Walker on a two-year deal in January 2024.
Originally from Australia, Walker has previously played for North Wales Raiders and Keighley Cougars.
In a statement, the club said: "Whitehaven RLFC Board of Directors would like to inform fans that following a serious breach of operating rules, bringing both the club and RFL into disrepute. Dalton Desmond Walker's contract has been terminated with immediate effect.
"The club will not be making any further comment."
