A SHOPLIFTER who stole more than £300-worth of cosmetics has been fined.
Nicky Hewitson, 36, stole the items, worth £317, from Superdrug in Whitehaven on April 9.
He admitted theft from a shop when he appeared before Workington Magistrates’ Court.
Hewitson was fined £120. No order was made for compensation because the goods were recovered.
The defendant, of Roper Street, Workington, must pay £85 costs.
