A TOTAL of 30 solar panels could be installed at a site near Whitehaven if the plans are approved by Cumberland Council.
The stand-alone pole mounted panels could be placed on land at Utopia House, Lowca, just to the west of the A595, planning documents show.
Application support documents show the panels would be Hi-MO X6 Explorer units.
The application, which was validated by the council on March 18, is currently being considered by planning officers at the authority.
Members of the public can comment on the application via the Cumberland Council website.
