TWO young entrepreneurs aged just 12 and 15, have cemented their place in the business world despite saying their age makes it harder 'to be taken seriously'.

Rocco Boyd who is 12, and Kyle Mossop, who is 15, have created Vezzra 360, which is a company which oversees multiple different businesses including Havenly Sweets, WhithavenTours, Paranormal Places, DJ Cumbria, 7xB Crew and Vezzra Community.

Rocco started the Friz Popup at aged just 10, where he sold sweets in Frizington. After a while, he decided to rebrand as Havenly Sweets which would sell waffles and hot drinks. Not long after, Kyle got involved.

The waffles and hot drinks are sold at pop-up stalls such as TEG retail markets. However, the pair will be opening a permanent shop in Whitehaven in March.

WhithavenTours, which is the correct name as the name 'WhitehavenTours' was unavailable on social media, is a TV show which is broadcasted on YouTube with a film coming to Parkway Cinemas soon. The account tour areas of west Cumbria.

Paranormal Places is a ghost-hunting Youtube series, DJ Cumbria is a DJ group, 7xB Crew is a social media team that does religious and motivational posts and Vezzra Community is a local events company.

Rocco decided to start his first business because he had always wanted to one day have a shop in Whitehaven. Shortly after COVID, when Rocco ran his 'Friz Popup' where he raised money for  Blood Bikes Cumbria and Gary McKee, he found his passion for business.

Rocco spoke about being a young entrepreneur, he said: "Being my age it’s hard to be taken seriously, especially now we have a lot of in person interaction with people."

Kyle said: "It was scary because we didn’t know how people would react to two teens and how we would handle money but we have it all sorted now."

Rocco spoke about how he has converted his skills into new businesses, he said: "I always knew I wanted to sell something and have my own shop. With videography I always liked being on videos and I’m extremely comfortable in front of a camera."

"In the future, we want to open up cafes in Cumbria. Multiple locations. Expand our menu and help the local community. We want to go above and beyond."
