The Whitehaven Coastguard Rescue Team has announced that they are hosting a recruitment open evening.
The two-hour event will be held from 7pm on January 16, at Unit 6B, Sneckyeat Industrial Estate.
The team encourages anyone interested in learning more about becoming a volunteer coastguard rescue officer (CRO) to attend.
Attendees will have the opportunity to engage team members and find out about the responsibilities and requirements of being a CRO.
