LOCAL authorities have issued a reminder that a warm wellness hub is open every Monday in Whitehaven.
The Warm Wellness Hub runs from 10am until 2pm at the United Reformed Church in the town.
It is described as a supportive and welcoming space that is open to all.
The centre serves hot food and drinks, there are also creative workshops and health and wellbeing advice.
Some organisations in the area have helped to support the initiative, including councils.
A Cumbrian PCSO was in attendance this week to offer support to those in attendance.
A spokesperson from Copeland Police said earlier this week: "Whitehaven's warm wellness hub is open today between 10am-2pm at the United Reformed Church in the marketplace.
"PCSO 5274 will be in attendance from 11am-12.30pm to offer safety advice and to discuss any community issues residents wish to report."
