Police officers in Whitehaven have arrested a man for possession of controlled substances.
Officers conducted two stop and searches in the town on October 13.
A spokesperson from Cumbria Police said: "Whilst on proactive foot patrols around George Street this evening, officers PC1932 Buchanan, PC2249 McCulla, and PC3297 Campbell conducted two stop searches under S.23 of the Misuse of Drugs Act.
"This resulted in one male being arrested for being in possession of controlled substances. He has been interviewed and cautioned.
"Dealt with very swiftly by the neighbourhood team, taking more drugs off our streets.
"We will continue to target and deal with drug issues in our community."
