A MAN has been charged following the discovery of a cannabis farm at a property in West Cumbria.
Officers gained entry to a property on King Street, Whitehaven on Tuesday morning, September 19, where 400 plants we located and seized by police.
Police have charged Defrim Xherri, 34, of no fixed abode, with being concerned with the production of a controlled drug of Class B – cannabis.
He has been remanded in custody and will appear before Workington Magistrates’ Court today September 20.
