THE street names have been revealed for the latest development to be built at Edgehill Park in Whitehaven.
The proposed street names for the estate built by Story Homes are: Hayton Way, Fortune Lane, Swan Way, Redferne Drive, Rose Drive and Banks Drive.
The names are from an historic list of shipping working out of Whitehaven. Whitehaven Town Council are currently being consulted on the street names.
Story Homes was given permission to build a further 107 homes at Edgehill Park last month after Cumberland Council approved phase four of the development, subject to a Section 106 planning obligation.
Conditions include providing 10 affordable homes, making an education contribution of £199,122 and a financial contribution of £8,000 to cover the Traffic Regulation Order to extend the 30mph speed limit on High Road.
