COPELAND motorists will have two road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.
And one of them is expected to cause moderate delays – with drivers facing a holdup of between 10 minutes and half an hour.
The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week: A595, from 8pm February 14 to 3am July 24, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A595 northbound and southbound, Howgate Roundabout to Whitehaven, Weekend carriageway closures for reconstruction of carriageway.
And one more closure will begin over the next six days: A595, from 9.30am to 3.30pm, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A595 northbound and southbound, loop Road South.
