A FAMILIAR name is backing Whitehaven RL.
Solway Plastering Limited (SPL) has been announced as the official sponsor of the club's 2026 NRL Predictor Competition.
The company, owned by Jack and Charlotte Rushforth, has supported the club in the past through match and match ball sponsorship.
Mr Rushforth said: "I am very happy to re-engage with Whitehaven RL.
"I live back-to-back with the stadium and understand just how important the club is to the community."
Whitehaven RL extended its thanks to the company and encouraged fans to consider SPL for any plastering or home improvement needs.
The NRL Predictor Competition entry fee is £10.
Most recently, the winner walked away with £620.
SPL delivers plastering services across residential and industrial projects throughout Cumbria and southern Scotland.
The club described SPL as "a highly reputable and continually expanding business."
Whitehaven RL said it is "extremely pleased" to have SPL's support again.
