WHITEHAVEN Rugby League has signed Lewis Brown from Seaton Rangers.
This marks the 27-year-old forward's second stint with the club.
Brown initially joined on loan in 2017 before making 25 appearances and scoring one try.
He left in 2019 due to work commitments.
Recently, under the guidance of Haven assistant coach Neil Frazer, Brown has led Seaton Rangers to the season’s Cumberland Cup Final and CARLA Premier Division Grand Final victories.
He captained the side to triumph in both tournaments.
Anthony Murray, Haven's head coach, expressed his enthusiasm for the signing.
He said: "We’re delighted to welcome Lewis on board.
"He’s had a taste of the professional game before, and to see him go back into the community, reset, rebuild and put together the season he’s just had shows a lot about his character and hunger.
"He’s been outstanding for his community club this year and his performances have been consistently strong.
"He’s coming in with a real drive to have another crack at the professional level and we love that ambition.
"He’s experienced, he’s hungry, and he’s earned this opportunity through hard work and determination.
"We’re excited to see him back in a pro environment and we believe he can make a real impact for us."
