Whitehaven Rugby League have signed Cumbrian half-back Ciaran Walker.
The 22-year-old, League 1's Young Player of the Year in 2023, reunites with head coach Anthony Murray.
Walker was under Murray's guidance at Workington Town, scoring 11 tries in 20 starts that year.
Over four seasons, he has made 44 appearances for Town, scoring 12 tries, 119 goals, and one drop goal.
Walker spent most of the 2025 campaign on dual registration with Seaton Rangers but has now signed a two-year deal with Whitehaven until the end of the 2027 campaign, returning to the professional game.
Head coach Anthony Murray said: "I'm delighted to welcome Ciaran Walker to the club.
"He's a local lad with real talent, already recognised as a former League One Young Player of the Year.
"Having worked with him before, I know the quality he brings, and this move gives him the perfect chance to get his career back on track.
