AN EGREMONT boxer has been entered into an international female boxing competition.
Billie Donaldson of Egremont ABC will be heading to Sweden in 2024 to take part in the Golden Girls Box Cup.
An Egremont ABC spokesperson said: "Billie is one of the most dedicated and hardest workers in the gym, she breathes the sport, and we feel she deserves this amazing opportunity.
"We have decided to enter her in the Golden Girls Box Cup in February next year.
"This is the largest box cup in Europe for Females this will be held in Boras, Sweden.
"To help fund Billie's trip we will be doing a fight T-shirt for the box cup only. We are looking for local businesses that would like to have their logo printed on it for a fee please message the page or ring 07562045371.
