After their final game of the season over the weekend, it is confirmed that Whitehaven RL will be maintaining their position in the Championship.
The Haven side took on top French outfit Toulouse on Saturday, September 23 at The LEL Arena.
Despite losing the game, the West Cumbrians put on a strong performance with a respectable score of 16-26 to Toulouse.
On Sunday came around the club found out that they were maintaining their position to compete in the Championship for the 2024 season.
Fans and players were delighted with this result as many thought that relegation was imminent for the side.
