Barrow AFC fans could be set for a return to Holker Street after nine months away.
Prime Minister Boris Johnson revealed yesterday that a limited number of supporters will be allowed to attend events in stadiums after the current lockdown ends.
The second national lockdown finishes on December 2.
However, the tiered system will be reintroduced.
Depending on which tier Barrow is in will determine how many Bluebirds supporters can enter Holker Street.
Tier 1 areas will be allowed a maximum of 4,000 spectators.
Tier 2 regions can hold 2,000 fans in grounds.
Whereas matches in Tier 3 restrictions will have to continue behind closed doors.
Barrow was in Tier 2 prior to the national lockdown.
Therefore, if the area is placed in Tier 2 again, 2,000 fans will be in attendance to watch Barrow take on Salford City on December 5.
