Seascale Golf Club's Mixed Tee Stableford saw 102 entrants experience very variable weather with wind and heavy showers last Wednesday.

Keith Hunt (eight) with the best of three 38s won Division One from Andy Lloyd (nine) and Tom Sharpe (three). Rob McBride (nine) 36 took fourth.

Of the five 35s returned in Division Two, prizes went to Paul Maher (11), Robert Temple (12), Geof Nugent (12) and Colin Curwen (12).

With the day's best of 40 points, Tom Pearson (28) and Paul Grundill (18) claimed first and second in Division Three, followed by Ben Jacques (17) and Paul Woods (26), both on 36 points. There were eight Twos.

The Club Four-Person Team was played on alternate days, Saturday and Sunday.

Twenty five teams competed, though only one team braved the gales and rain on Saturday. The winning team comprised John Brocklebank (15), John Paul Brocklebank (11), Anthony Leak (nine) and Paul Reid (21) which won with 107 points, five more than the second-placed team of Keith Hunt (eight), Dave Jackman (13), Tony Newton (14) and Don Weavers (eight).

The final prizes went to Mark Richardson (seven), Dave Rogers (12), John Parsons (16) and J D Moore (16) with a score of 101. Six Twos shared the Pot.
