Entries for the M-Sport Return to Rally Stages opened this week and supplementary regulations are now available on the M-Sport website.

Limited to 45 M-Sport-designed and -developed Ford Focus and Fiesta rally cars, the event is set to be a celebration of all things M-Sport whilst also acting as a prime example of how the UK can safely return to rallying.

Taking place in Greystoke Forest on August 22, the event has been organised with the West Cumbria and Eden Valley Motor Clubs and will run six timed stages across 38 competitive miles – all in the confines of the forest.

The service park will also be situated within the forest and, for the first time in the history of all Greystoke events, there will be a recce convoy on Friday evening.

Although no spectators will be permitted, fans can follow the action on the company’s social media platforms.

M-Sport’s managing director, Malcolm Wilson, said: “We’ve worked extremely hard over the past 20 years to provide a competitive Ford at all levels of rallying, and I’d like this event to celebrate that success – with as many different M-Sport cars as possible.

“But more than that, I’d like this event to reassure organisers and competitors that we can go rallying safely and responsibly in the current climate – getting our industry back on its feet and working towards everyone being able to enjoy this fantastic sport once again.”
