The White Horse Sea Angling Club’s match last Sunday was from Seascale slipway to Harrington pier, from low up to high water, in a south-westerly wind.
First with a sizeable bag of nine rockling, which pushed A Hartley into second, was L Lynch.
Hartley’s dogfish was the heaviest fish of the day at 2lb 3½oz.
J Dunleavey was third with a dogfish for 1lb 13oz and fourth was J Murray with a cod for 1lb 12½oz.
Junior winner was H Donnan with a pair of rockling for 8oz, with H Clements the runner-up with a 7½oz rockling.
The next match this Sunday will be for the Lea Hasson Trophy on the north and west piers.
Fishing will be from noon to 3pm, with a one-hour walk-on time and weighing at the north shore car park.
