Hensingham Darts League' blind doubles competition took place this week.
The competition sees all entries put into a hat, with playing pairs then drawn out in any order to present teams who might not normally play together or against each other.
This year's contest was played off on the night at Lowca Rugby League Club.
Following some very entertaining early round games, the final was between Gary Linford, from Lowca, and John Pilkington, from HARLFC, up against Scanner Bone, also from HARLFC, and Adam Johnson, also from Lowca.
After a very competitive final which could have gone either way, it was the pair of Bone and Johnson who eventually emerged as the 2020 Hensingham Blind Doubles Champions.
They were helped by two maximum 180s from Bone, who won the fifth game of the final to seal a 3-2 victory.
This week will see the last official league fixtures of this season played and there is still much to play for as the league championship will be decided with the match between the Frizington Vets at home against the HARLFC.
Third-placed Lowca are away at Whitehaven rugby league club's JJ McKeown Bar and in the final fixture this week Bennies A are home to the St Begh’s club.
