Distington sailed through to the second round of the Coral Challenge Cup with a comfortable win over Bedford Tigers.
The Iggesund Cumberland League champions scored nine tries in their 50-10 victory.
They were well on their way at half-time as they led 22-6 against their southern visitors.
Jamie Friel, Nick Cook and Kelvin Lynch all scored two tries apiece and the other touchdowns came from Dan Park, Matt Hewer and Scott George.
Clayton Sutton kicked seven goals for the hosts who last year earned a lot of credit for their performance against League One side Keighley in the third round.
South Cumbrians Barrow Island also got through their first round tie with Rhondda Outlaws, chalking-up a huge 84-6 victory.
The Challenge Cup second round draw takes place live on Radio Leeds tonight at 6.30pm and the games will be played on the week-end of January 26/27.
