Gosforth swamped Moor Row 7-0 as the Conway Cup took precedence over the Smurfit Kappa Cumberland County League.
A brace from Matthew Pierce started the rout, with Cameron Bowness, Rhys Singleton, James Woodall, Ryan Nichols and Harvey Staunton completing the scoring.
Silloth travelled to Bransty Rangers and won 3-1, with Mark Callan scoring for Rangers, while Crown Newlaithes entertained Whitehaven Miners and won 5-1, with Lewis Park contributing Miners’ only goal.
Workington Reds Juniors Black defeated Windscale Reserves 6-3 as Dale Hooper, Tom Walton and Lee Wolfe scored for the latter.
Northbank were unable to capitalise on home advantage when Cockermouth edged a close game by 3-2, Workington Athletic beat UniSun 3-0 and Wigton Harriers progressed with a 3-1 win over Carlisle City Development.
Aspatria were awarded a walkover when Mirehouse were unable to raise a team.
The only league game scheduled between Whitehaven Amateurs Reserves and Maryport Athletic was postponed.
Despite the poor weather a number of games still went ahead midweek, with Moor Row running out 6-0 winners at Whitehaven Amateurs Reserves in the Conway Cup as Greg Rooney and Ben Graham both bagged braces supported by strikes from Ellison Holgate and David Hutchinson.
In the Premier Division, Bransty got a 4-3 win over Cleator Moor Celtic Reserves as Ryan Cornish, Josh Fisher with a penalty, Michael Garroway and Bradley O’Pray cancelled out Owen Charlton’s hat-trick.
In Division One, Mirehouse ran out winners 5-3 against Workington Reds Junior Black as Tom Powell, Ryan Stanborough and Dylan Hudson scored one each and Jordan Priestly added a brace.
Maryport Athletic defeated Whitehaven Miners 2-1, with the consolation goal coming from Lewis Park, Workington Athletic saw off Windscale Reserves 5-0 and Crown Newlaithes beat UniSun 9-1.
