Runners from across the county and further afield lined up for another successful tilt at the Lorton 10K last weekend.

An impressive field took on the weather and undulating course with Cumberland Fell Runners’ Mark Likeman seeing off his nearest challengers to take the win in 35 minutes and 22 seconds.

The first woman home was Cumberland AC’s Nadia Shaw, just pipping clubmate Lucy Stobbart by three seconds.
