Bransty Rangers battled and gave it their all but couldn’t match Senhouse as they went down 9-0 in the under-13s division of the West Cumbria Youth League.

The rest of the matches in the division saw Workington Reds beat Cockermouth United 3-1 on Friday night before Whitehaven AFC Blue drew 1-1 with Seaton United on Saturday while St Bees beat Seaton Athletic 5-2 on the road.

Sunday’s only game was an entertaining 6-2 win for Workington Wolves at Maryport Amateurs.

Moor Row Blacks were in luck as they were handed a home walkover against Grassroad Sharks in the under-12s blue division, while in the under-14s division Cleator Moor Celtic beat Dearham Rangers 7-1 on Friday night, then Workington Reds Black won 6-2 at home to Windscale the following day.

Other games on Saturday saw Cockermouth Cougars and St Bees duke it out in a thrilling 5-5 draw, while Whitehaven AFC ran out 9-2 winners at Workington Reds White and Workington Rangers got a 9-0 win against Maryport Athletic.

Workington Reds Black and Maryport Amateurs under-15s both picked up 9-0 wins against Whitehaven AFC and Whitehaven Miners Social under-15s respectively in the under-16s division, while Maryport Athletic also got a big win as they defeated Seaton under-15s 8-1 on their own patch.

Cockermouth Lightning won 2-0 at Workington Wanderers Whites under-15s and Bransty Rangers were 4-1 winners against Cleator Moor Celtic.

The only under-18s division game saw Workington Reds White win 9-0 at Seaton.
