Kells' Under-12 rugby team capped off a superb season with their presentation night.

During the past term the youngsters won the West Cumbria Youth League, the County Cup and the League Cup for a hat-trick of trophies and only narrowly missed out on a fourth – being beaten in a close contest in the Top Four play-off final.

On top of this they were also voted the West Cumbria Referees’ Society’s youth team of the year which is awarded for the team’s behaviour both on and off the pitch.

The winners were as follows: most improved players: Dylan Cromwell and Dylan Hodgson; most dedicated player – Brodie Rutherford; referees’ player of the year – Spike Canavan; players’ player of the year and player of the year – Harley Nelson.
