The Hornets produced their best display of the season, with a totally committed performance by the whole squad, to beat Kells 36-10 at Red Beck.
The game was the latest to be shown live on Sky and now, a month into the season, all three Cumbrian clubs have had the chance to shine in front of the cameras.
Kells were the first to strike with a try on eight minutes from Connor Hetherington.
But Wath Brow hit back and three tries in a 10-minute spell midway through the half helped them into a 16-4 lead at the break.
Second-row forward Callum Farrer charged over on 17 minutes and he was followed over by Jamie Devine and Cole Walker-Taylor.
Two of them were converted by Walker-Taylor and Kells weren’t helped by a 10-minute spell in the sin-bin for Tyrone Dalton after he was deemed guilty of a high tackle.
Wath Brow continued to dominate in the second half and stretched their lead to 30-4.
Walker-Taylor crossed twice more to complete his hat-trick and Luke Davison also got over.
Kells did manage to reduce the arrears with a try by Ross Ainley, which Ross Gainford converted.
But, with Fran King and Karl Dixon outstanding as a half-back pairing for the Hornets, the home side had the final word with a try by Daniel Burns which Walker-Taylor converted.
