Workington Comets' first team home meeting of 2018 called off
Workington Comets will have to wait for their first team action of the season after Saturday night's home Championship Shield tie against Glasgow was called off.
The meeting was postponed due to a bad weather forecast 24 hours after the club's scheduled trip to face the Tigers at Ashfield was also called off for the same reason.
New dates for the meetings are yet to be confirmed.
Comets' first team meetings of the season are now set to be an away Shield clash at Edinburgh on Friday and the home leg against the Monarchs the following day.
