Workington Reds will kick off the new season with several of their new signings in the starting line-up against Stafford Rangers this afternoon.
Niall Cowperthwaite, Brad Hubbold, Jason Walker and the on-loan Jordan Holt are all named in Dave Hewson and Lee Andrews' starting XI for the first Evo-Stik Northern Premier League game at Borough Park, ko 3pm.
And in another boost for Reds, experienced defender Dan Wordsworth is named on the bench for the clash, after recovering from a close season hernia operation.
Another new face Lewis Tidy is also on the bench, alongside former Carlisle youngster Jaic Miller and young Sheldon Mossop also keeps his place.
Stafford also look very different from the team that played Reds last term with just four players who finished last season with the club named in the starting line-up today.
