Morrisons is bringing sit-down Burger Boi restaurants to more of its supermarkets.
Following the launch of its first in-store Burger Boi restaurant in Manchester Piccadilly in December 2025, the supermarket chain has announced plans for six more locations across the UK.
The new sites will offer full restaurant dining, takeaway, and delivery options through major food delivery platforms.
Asa Simpson, sales director at Burger Boi, said: "Less than five years ago, Burger Boi opened its first store.
"On Thursday, we'll open our second physical location within Morrisons, this time in Wood Green.
"It's another exciting milestone in what is becoming a fantastic partnership with Morrisons and one that continues to enable us to bring Burger Boi to more communities across the UK.
"Even more exciting is that this is only the beginning, with four more Morrisons locations already planned to open before the end of the year."
The restaurant format offers Morrisons shoppers the choice of enjoying a freshly prepared meal during their shop.
It also provides Burger Boi with high-footfall locations, ample parking, and established delivery logistics.
The Manchester site was met with what the company described as an “exceptional” response.
Burger Boi, launched in Wolverhampton in July 2021, now operates around 20 locations across the UK.
The brand, inspired by a trip to California, has built its reputation on smashed burgers — beef patties pressed onto a hot griddle to produce a crispy, caramelised crust.
Popular menu items include the American Boi, Triple Cheese Boi, and Hot Honey Smash.
The menu also features fried chicken sandwiches, loaded fries, and milkshakes, with vegetarian and vegan options available.
A second Morrisons Burger Boi site is set to open on August 6 at the retailer’s Wood Green store in north London, creating more than 20 new jobs.
Watford has been confirmed as a third location, with a launch expected later this month.
Burger Boi founder Surj Bassi said the partnership supports the brand’s ambitions for nationwide growth in “convenient, high-footfall locations.”
Mr Simpson said: "Seeing an opportunity evolve into a scalable retail partnership is something I'm proud to be part of.

Burger Boi plans to open four more Morrisons sites before the end of the year.
Further locations and opening dates will be announced later in the year.
