Two lucky Premium Bonds holders have each won the £1 million jackpot this month.

National Savings and Investment (NS&I) has announced the August 2026 winners.

Only two lucky winners claimed the top £1 million prize this month, with the first being claimed by a winner from Kent with the bond number 664BF890888.

The owner's winning bond was valued at £20,000 and was purchased in February 2026 with an overall holding of £21,000.


What is a Premium Bond?


The second Premium Bonds winner to claim £1 million this month is from Hampshire and the Isle of Wight, with the bond number 491KF169443.

The winner has an overall holding of £49,860, with the winning bond worth £40,000, purchased in March 2022.

Premium Bond prizes announced in August 2026

Every month, only two winners take home £1 million, but plenty of other prizes are available, with Bonds also able to win £100,000, £50,000, £25,000, £10,000 and more prizes.

Prize draws are conducted every month, and prizes of up to £1,000,000 are given away.
