Marks & Spencer is giving its bestselling Formula skincare collection a major makeover, with TV presenter Emma Willis unveiled as the new face of the science-led range.
Launching online and in stores from August 6, the refreshed collection features 16 products designed to tackle everything from dehydration and dullness to fine lines and dark circles – with prices starting from £12.
Leading the launch is the Formula Ultra Peptide Serum (£29), which M&S says is powered by advanced Peptides and an NAD+ Booster and is clinically proven to improve seven key skin concerns in four weeks following a user trial.
The retailer has also appointed consultant oculoplastic surgeon Dr Elizabeth Hawkes as its new Beauty Ambassador, bringing expert skincare advice to shoppers.
Emma Willis said: "I'm thrilled to be working with M&S Beauty as they enter this new space within skincare. What I love about this range is that it doesn't overcomplicate skincare."
She added: "We've all heard the buzzwords, but most people just want to know what something does and whether it works. Formula takes genuinely advanced science and explains it in a way that feels simple and approachable.
"It's skincare you don't need a PhD for - just brilliant ingredients, proven results and products that fit into real life."

Formula Ultra Peptide Serum – £29
Best for: Fine lines, dullness and loss of firmness.
The hero product of the relaunch combines peptides, ceramides, niacinamide, Omega 3 and 6 and an NAD+ Booster. M&S says it targets seven common skin concerns including uneven tone, rough texture, dryness and visible pores while delivering 24-hour hydration.
Formula Ultra Peptide Eye Cream – £20
Best for: Dark circles and puffiness.
Containing caffeine, bakuchiol and niacinamide, the cream is designed to brighten tired-looking eyes while reducing puffiness and softening fine lines.
Formula Ultra Peptide Light Day Cream
Best for: Daily hydration.
A lightweight moisturiser with peptides, hyaluronic acid and polyglutamic acid that aims to leave skin looking brighter, smoother and plumper without feeling heavy.
Formula Ultra Peptide Night Cream
Best for: Overnight repair.
Designed to work while you sleep, this richer cream combines peptides, niacinamide, vitamin E and hyaluronic acid to help improve firmness and maintain hydration.
Formula Ultra Peptide Neck & Décolletage Cream
Best for: Neck and chest.
Formulated with shea butter, pullulan and blackcurrant seed oil to improve the appearance of fine lines and help skin feel firmer.
Formula Hyaluronic Hydrating Serum
Best for: Dry skin.
Using multi-molecular hyaluronic acid alongside aloe vera and polyglutamic acid, this serum is designed to deliver instant hydration and plumper-looking skin.
Formula Retinoid Renewal Serum
Best for: Fine lines and uneven texture.
Combining next-generation retinoids with bakuchiol, vitamin E and shea butter, it aims to smooth skin while being gentle enough for regular use.
Formula Vitamin C Brightening Eye Cream
Best for: Tired eyes.
A brightening eye cream containing stabilised vitamin C, hyaluronic acid and illuminating pigments to help reduce the appearance of dark circles.
Formula AHA Exfoliating Toner
Best for: Dull complexions.

Formula Buriti Nourishing Facial Oil
Best for: Dry, lacklustre skin.
A blend of buriti, rosehip and meadowfoam seed oils designed to add radiance without leaving a greasy finish.
Available from 6 August, the Formula collection will be sold online and in M&S stores nationwide. For shoppers looking for science-led skincare without premium beauty prices, it could be one of the retailer's biggest beauty launches of the year.
