A MOUNTAIN rescue team responded to 35 incidents over just two months.
Langdale Ambleside Mountain Rescue Team (MRT) said 26 of those callouts required a full team response, with the remainder handled remotely.
The incidents, recorded in July and August, included 11 limb injuries, five lost walkers, and four medical incidents.
There were also four falls involving multiple injuries, three overdue individuals, two heat related incidents, and two water related incidents.
The team also responded to two reports of people shouting for help, one back injury, and one person who became cragfast.
A spokesman for Langdale Ambleside MRT said: "A huge huge thank you goes out to all of the agencies we work alongside, our valued donors that raise money for our charity, our volunteers that give up unlimited hours to provide a service, as well as their families who offer endless support in so many ways. We are so grateful"
In addition to emergency callouts, the team held six training sessions, attended community events, and welcomed visitors to their base.
They also took part in an inter-team cricket match with Kendal MRT, saying they got absolutely outclassed.
