Mollie Gallagher has shared a farewell message on her Instagram following the broadcast of her last Coronation Street scenes.
The actress, who plays Nina Lucas on the ITV soap, said the role, which she has played for nearly seven years, has been “a dream”.
Sharing two pictures of her in character on Instagram, she said: “Nina and Corrie you have been a dream 🖤
“I stepped foot on to the cobbles almost 7 years ago and what a time it has been!
“As a working class Actor from Salford I am proud to be part of a show that feels like home, and I am beyond grateful for everything, and everybody there ⭐️
“Corrie brought a dream of a character to life and I can’t believe l get to say I played a dream role for my first ever acting job✨
“Just a goodbye for now <3
“🖤 Stay weird 🖤”.
On seeing the post, fellow soap stars and fans shared their well wishes for the future.
Beth Nixon, known for playing Megan Walsh in the soap, said: “So so proud of you and everything you have achieved, I've only known you for a short time but I know that you deserve every opportunity and happiness in the world x”.
