A brass band is set to perform in Whitehaven this weekend.
Whitehaven Brass Band will perform at the Haig Colliery Heritage Centre tomorrow, Saturday August 8.
The centre announced the performance on their Facebook page, describing it as "classic live brass music in a setting steeped with local history."
The band will be performing outside the centre from 11:30am to 12:30pm, with a spokesperson saying there would be a few seats available for audience members.
In the post, the centre said: "It's a great opportunity to support local talent, connect with our community, and help keep our rich industrial heritage alive and thriving."
Haig Pit Bakehouse will also be open for visitors to enjoy hot drinks, food or snacks.
