Aspiring entrepreneurs are being invited to join a new enterprise programme.
The free six-week School of Social Enterprise programme will run at Phoenix House on Jacktrees Road, Cleator Moor, from September 16 to October 21.
It aims to equip individuals with the skills and confidence to launch businesses that deliver social or environmental value.
The programme includes training in marketing, financial planning, customer engagement and business modelling, alongside personalised mentoring and daily lunch vouchers.
Participants may also be eligible for up to three months of free office space.
Delivered by the Centre for Leadership Performance and supported by Phoenix Enterprise Centre, Morgan Sindall Construction, Cumberland Council, and Cumbria Social Enterprise Partnership, the course is open to anyone with a business idea focused on creating community impact.
A drop-in information event will take place on August 11 at Phoenix Enterprise Centre from 10am to 2pm.
